Jesus Is Coming Back Soon

The title of my message is: "Jesus Is Coming Back Soon".
Turn with me in your bibles to Acts 1:9-11. That's Acts 1:9-11.
"And when He had spoken these things, while they beheld, He was taken up;
and a cloud received Him out of their sight. And while they looked steadfastly toward heaven
as He went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel;
Which also said, 'Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven?
this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven,
shall so come in like manner as ye have seen Him go into heaven.'"

After Jesus had risen from the dead,
Jesus spent his last day here on earth speaking to His disciples.
Then, He was taken back up into heaven on a cloud.
Two angels spoke to His disciples while they were gazing up at Jesus
as He went up into heaven on a cloud. The angels told the disciples
that Jesus would come back to earth the same way He went up into heaven,
which was on a cloud. When Jesus comes back to earth, He will not come back as a baby
born to a virgin, the way that He came the first time.
Instead, He will come down from heaven on a cloud.
Jesus will come back in great glory, and with great power.

Turn with me to Mark 13:26. That's Mark 13:26.
"And then shall they see the Son Of Man coming in the clouds
with great power and glory." Turn with me to Matthew 24:30
That's Matthew 24:30. "And then shall appear the sign of the Son Of Man in heaven:
and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son Of Man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory."
In these chapters, the disciples were asking Jesus when was He coming back to earth,
and what would be the sign of His return.
Jesus told them what would happen before He came back.
Then, He told them that He would come back from heaven in a cloud
with power and great glory. Turn with me to Revelation 1:5-7. That's Revelation 1:5-7.
"And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness,
and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth.
Unto Him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in His own blood.
And hath made us kings and priests unto God His father;
To Him be glory and dominion for ever. Amen. Behold, He cometh with clouds;
and every eye shall see Him, and they also which pierced Him:
and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of Him. Even so, Amen"

Jesus Christ, the Son of God, was so faithful and obedient to God,
the Father, that He died and shed His innocent blood for our sins.
He reconciled us back to God, and made us kings and priests unto Him.
God raised Jesus form the dead, and Jesus went back to heaven on a cloud.
Jesus is coming back to earth in the clouds with great power and glory!
The whole world will see Him when He comes down from heaven,
because His glory will be so bright that it will light up the whole world,
from one end of the earth to the other end.
It won't matter weather it is day or night in our part of the world when He comes back,
because His glory will make night brighter than day.
Everyone will cry when they see Him coming. Some will cry with joy,
because they have been waiting for His return. Some will cry with shame,
because they rejected Him. Some will cry with fear,
because they will realize that the devil has deceived them.

Turn with me to Matthew 24:27. That's Matthew 24:27.
"For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west;
so shall also the coming of the Son Of Man be."
Just as the lightning flashes from one side of the earth to the other side,
Jesus' glory will light up the whole world when He comes back to earth.
His glory will be brighter than the sun.

Turn with me to Revelation 21:23. That's Revelation 21:23.
"And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon,
to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof."
When the glory of God is present, there is no need for the sun or, for the moon.
Turn with me to Matthew 24:32-36. That's Matthew 24:32-36.
"Now, learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves,
ye know that summer is nigh: So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things,
know that it is near, even at the doors. Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass,
till all these things be fulfilled. Heaven and earth shall pass away,
but my words shall not pass away. But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no,
not the angels of heaven, but my Father only."
In the chapter 24 of Matthew, Jesus told His disciples what would happen here on earth,
and in the heavens, before He came back. He told them that the generation of people,
who lived at that time, should watch for the signs because those people would live
until all those things were fulfilled. Jesus, also said that no one knew the day
and the hour that He would come back to earth, not even the angels in heaven.
Only God the Father knows the day and hour that Jesus will come back.
But, Jesus warned us to watch for the signs of the time.
Jesus came to me, and He said, "Go, and tell the world that
I AM NOT DEAD, I AM ALIVE, AND I AM COMING BACK SOON"!
Jesus is warning us about His soon return! He does not want anyone to be deceived!
He does not want anyone to be lost!

Turn with me to Matthew 24:4-5. That's Matthew 24:4-5.
"And Jesus answered and said unto them, 'Take heed that no man deceive you.
For many shall come in my name, saying, 'I am Christ'; and shall deceive many."
Turn with me to Mark 13:21-23. That's Mark 13:21-23.
"And then if any man shall say unto you, 'Lo, here is Christ'; or, 'lo, He is there';
believe him not: For false Christs and false prophets shall rise,
and shall shew signs and wonders, to seduce, if it were possible, even the elect.
But take ye heed: behold, I have foretold you all things.'"

There should be no reason for us to be deceived by false Christs,
because The Bible clearly tells us that Jesus Christ, the Son of God, has already come!
He came from heaven, was born of a virgin woman, walked on this earth as a man.
Jesus Christ walked among His creation, but they did not recognize Him.
He went about doing good! He died on the cross for our sins! He defeated the devil!
God raised Jesus from the dead! He went back to heaven, and He is coming back soon!
We don't have to be deceived by anyone saying that he is Jesus,
and that He has returned back to the earth! When Jesus comes back,
He will come in the clouds, with great glory and great power!
No one will have to wonder: "Is He the Christ?" because everyone will see Him
as He comes from heaven! They will see His pierced hands, sides, and feet!
What we need to do now is to prepare ourselves for Jesus' soon return!
Let us not be like the people in the time of Noah, or like the people in the time of Lot!
Turn with me to Luke 17:26-30. That's Luke 17:26-30.
"And as it was in the days of No'-e, so shall it be also in the days of the Son Of Man.
They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage,
until the day that No'-e entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all.
Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought,
they sold, they planted, they builded. But in the same day that Lot went out of Sodom
it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all.
Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son Of Man is revealed."

Let us not be so preoccupied and so concerned with the things of this world
that we ignore, neglect, and reject so great a salvation that God has provided for us
through the birth, death, and resurrection of His Son, Jesus Christ!
