Wake Up Church

Praise the Lord! For, Jesus is alive! Hello. My name is Evangelist Joe Anna Shaw.
Jesus came to me and He said, “Go, and tell the world,
that I am not dead, I am alive, and I am coming back soon.”
This is why I am bringing to you my message entitled “Wake Up Church”.
I hope you enjoy the service.
~~~
Down through the years, the Holy Spirit of God
has had great spiritual movements through the church.
There was the True Salvation Movement, the Healing Movement,
the Holy Spirit Movement, the Faith Movement, and the Prosperity Movement.
But, after each movement, the church seemed to have fallen back to sleep.
I believe that the Holy Spirit is about to have His greatest movement of all.
I believe that this is the movement that will bring Jesus back.
The church cannot afford to go back to sleep now because it is time for us to get ready
and be more than conquerors so that we can fulfill God’s plan for our lives.
Because Jesus is not dead, Jesus is alive, and Jesus is coming back soon.
(Revelation 1:7-8; Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see Him,
and they also which pierced Him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of Him.
Even so, Amen. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord,
which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.)
Who is the church? The church is anyone who has accepted Jesus as his or her Savior.
The church is the body of Christ.
Romans 13:11-12 tells us “…that, now it is high time to awake out of sleep:
for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed.
The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness,
and let us put on the armour of light."
Wake up church. Do not fear. The power of the Holy Spirit is here.
For the word of God must be spoken loud and clear.
Time is shorter than we think. There is no time left to sin.
We must let the light of God’s love shine through us.
We must stand on the truth of God’s word.
John 8:31-32 says, “…If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed;
And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”
It is only the love of God and the truth of His word that will set us free from sin.
We don’t have to fear because II Timothy 1:7 tells us that,
“…God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.”
The same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead now lives in us.
(Romans 8:11; But if the Spirit of Him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you,
He that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies
by His Spirit that dwelleth in you.) We are the temple of the Holy Spirit.
I Corinthians 6:19-20 says, “What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost
which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?
For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body,
and in your spirit, which are God's.”
The greatest power there is now lives in us.
We are well equipped to carry out the great commission that Jesus gave us in
Matthew 28:18-20 (And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying,
All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations,
baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you:
and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.)
To go and teach all nations, to baptize them in the name of the Father,
of the Son and the Holy Ghost, and to teach them to obey God.
Wake up church and be bold. The gospel of Jesus must be told.
For the salvation of the world is more precious than silver and gold.
We must boldly proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Romans 1:16 says, “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ:
for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth;
to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.” It is only through Jesus that the world can be saved.
There is nothing that anyone can do to earn His salvation.
There is not enough money in the whole world that can pay for our salvation.
I Peter 1:18-19 says, “Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things,
as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers;
But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:”
The redemption from sin required sinless blood. Only Jesus was qualified to pay it.
John 3:16-17 tells us, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son,
that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world;
but that the world through him might be saved.”
Wake up church, out of your sleep. If you don’t, many will weep.
For the price of sin is very steep.
Wake up church. We can’t afford to be sleeping on the job.
Ephesians 2:10 tells us that “…we are His (God’s) workmanship,
created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained
that we should walk in them.” Even before we were born again,
God had a special job for us to do. We could not do it before we got saved
because we had to do it with Jesus’ help. Jesus said in John 15:5
“I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him,
the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without Me ye can do nothing.”
We are God’s ambassadors. We represent Jesus here on earth.
If we sleep on the job, many will be lost and go to hell
where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
Because Romans 6:23 tells us that, “ …the wages of sin is death;
but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”
Wake up church. Do not flee. Open your eyes, and you will see
that, through Jesus Christ, we already have the victory.
Wake up church and take a stand against the devil and his evil spirits.
God has given us power and authority in the name of Jesus to bind and cast out devils.
Jesus said in Mark 16:17, “And these signs shall follow them that believe;
In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;”
God has given us armor to protect us from the tricks and deceits of the devil.
Ephesians 6:10-17 says, “Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers,
against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth,
and having on the breastplate of righteousness;
And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench
all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation,
and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:”
We are well covered. We can win this battle because Jesus has already won the war.
Wake up church, while it is light. No one can work in the darkness of the night.
It is time to do what is right.
Wake up church. It is time for us to take advantage of the freedom that we have now
to spread the gospel of Jesus. The doors are closing all over the world.
The name of Jesus is being banned. Christianity is becoming unwelcome.
Anti-Christ is rising. Do not procrastinate. We must obey God before it is too late.
We are the salt of the earth. We must preserve the word of God.
We are the light of the world. We must let the world see God in us.
Matthew 5:13-16 Jesus says, “Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing,
but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men.
Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.
Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick;
and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. Let your light so shine before men,
that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.”
Have we lost our zeal for God’s word? Have we lost our love for Him?
Are we hiding in the closet? Have we grown tired and weary? Are we dozing off?
We need to spend more time in the presence of the Lord.
Isaiah 40:31 says, “ But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength;
they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary;
and they shall walk, and not faint.”
Wake up church. It is half past noon. The signs are in the earth and on the moon
that Jesus Christ is coming back soon.
Wake up church for we are in the end of the end times.
There are wars and rumors of wars. Nations are against nations,
and nations are against themselves. There are blood moons and eclipsed suns.
People are calling right wrong and wrong right.
Isaiah 5:20 says, “Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil;
that put darkness for light, and light for darkness;
that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!”
People are changing God’s word instead of allowing His word to change them.
People are lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God.
II Timothy 3:1-4 says, “…that in the last days perilous times shall come.
For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers,
disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers,
false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,
Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;”
When the world is not expecting Him, Jesus will come from heaven in the clouds.
He will come in great glory and with great power.
His glory will be so bright that it will light up the whole world
from one end of the earth to the other. The whole world will see Him.
They will see His pierced hands and His pierced feet, and everyone will cry.
Revelation 1:7-8 says, “ Behold, He cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see Him,
and they also which pierced Him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of Him.
Even so, Amen. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord,
which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.”
Wake up church because Jesus is not dead. Jesus is alive, and Jesus is coming back soon.
